Dr. Jacob Thomas V. graduated in Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Surat in 1988. He joined the Institute of Human Resource Development (IHRD), Thiruvananthapuram as an Electronics Engineer in 1988. He obtained his Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras in 1993. During 1993-2001, he was the Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering in Model Engineering College , Cochin . He got his Doctoral Degree in Biomedical Engineering for the thesis "Analysis of Foot Pressure Parameters for Varying Foot Sole Properties in Diabetic Neuropathy" from IIT Madras in 2005. He is the member of different professional bodies including Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation , Biomedical Engineering Society of India, Indian Society for Biomechanics, Diabetic Foot Society of India, and Indian Society for Technical Education. He has published 5 papers in international journals and presented over 25 papers in national and international conferences. |
